WMDP World Headquarters, Springfield, MA - The boys – excuse me – the ladies and gentlemen in WMDP Blue™ are licking their chops at another opportunity to taste sweet victory. In this chapter of the USATF Grand Prix Series the Western Mass Distance Project has invited some ladies into the coveted blue wave. Saturday’s USATF Grand Prix, leg five, the Carver Cranberry 5-Mile Road Race is scheduled to go off at 9:00AM and in the words of Nicolai Naranjo “You better bring your popcorn!”
The Distance Project, from the boondocks of Western Mass, would like to welcome its newest members: Laura Hutchinson, Christa Marr, Amy Lane, and Anne Paredes. We thought it was a bit unfair to only make the gentlemen of the USATF-New England deal with the wrath of Western Mass, so here’s to evening out the score card!
Oh, and I hope no one forgot – Kevin Johnson (your USATF Grand Prix points leader) has a twin…
So, like last time, we warn you again – bring your fastest men AND your fastest ladies, I believe there is a storm headed in from the west.
